Bass Practice

And here we go. Trying to get myself a bit more involved with FL Studio again and actually learning how to use the various VSTs as opposed to just using presets only. Wubs are fun and I'll be trying some more as time progress.

This covers a few very standard dubstep basics. One, the FM synthesis. Sytrus is far more awesome than I had previously though but it is a very strong and viable tool for this style. Secondly is the use of Harmor. Harmor is an additive synth that Image Line tossed in to FL Studio a couple of major releases some time ago, its image... synthesis (?) is spot on. Essentially I used Edison to record a bass clip from Sytrus and used that audio file in Harmor. Lastly, vocorder use via Vocodex. Fun stuff.
